Growing up with an artistic father, I often admired his talent to draw and sketch. Much to my joy and surprise, I discovered that, although, I may not have the talent to create art with paint, charcoal or oil, I do have the ability look around and see art in the world as God and man created it and capture it in an image. This has now become my heart’s desire.

While on vacations I always enjoyed taking pictures as a memory of where I had been and what I had done. One friend describes me as “the one who was there to record the moment” At some point, I looked at the photos and saw more than just a memory. I noticed what was in the picture. This is when my photography became more than just a snapshot. My desire grew to capture what I saw as beautiful, fun, or intriguing so I could share it with others. I've always loved looking at nature and scenery and appreciating the world around me. My main focus is landscapes, nature, trains and anything interestingly mechanical. My best shots come when I am just having fun.

My goal is to take photographs that share a feeling of awe and wonder at what God has created and generates curiosity for what man has designed. My desire is to use these photographs to share my passion, create interest, encourage, and comfort.
